Dr Neophytos Charalambous
Dr Neophytos Charalambous graduated from the Pedagogical Academy of Cyprus and subsequently studied Psychology at the Colorado College in the United States. He also studied Public Law and Political Science and received his PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Athens. He worked as a teacher, educational psychologist and as professor and Head of Training at the Pedagogical Institute.  
He is the Director of the Institute of Development Ltd.  He is also President of the Cyprus Association of Cooperative Learning.  He occasionally teaches at the University of Cyprus, the Pedagogical Institute and the Cyprus Police Academy.  He has given hundreds of talks to parents in Cyprus and Greece and he organises seminars and workshops for parents, teachers and business people.  In addition, he provides consulting services to individuals, couples and parents.  
He is the author of 8 books and many articles.  He is the Scientific Representative of the Programme “ARETI” under the auspices of the Children’s’ Observatory and the Ministry of Justice and Public Order.

He is also the Programme Director of the postgraduate programme that started in February 2014 at Global College titled “CREATIVE ARTS AND ANIMATION”.

Vicky Charalambous
Trainer, Coach, Consultant at Institute of Development Ltd
Vicky Charalambous is a graduate of the Department of International and European Economic Studies, of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), has received her Master’s degree in Organizational and Economic Psychology from Panteion University, she completed the “Child Development” module (Department of Psychology, Open University OK) and she is a Phd Candidate in Psychology.
Vicky began her professional career at SHL Hellas, offering consulting services in human resource management and career development, and subsequently worked as a Career Counselor at the Institute of Development in Cyprus. Between 2007 and 2010, she held the position of HR Executive at British American Tobacco, and between 2010 and 2015 the position of Recruitment and Performance Development Manager at C. A. Papaellinas. She is also a part-time lecturer in Organizational Psychology at the European University in Nicosia and Coordinator of the Master’s degree in “Creative Arts & Animation” at Global College. Since June 2015, she has been working in the Institute of Development (N. Charalambous) Ltd as a trainer, coach and consultant of Personal and Professional development, on Positive Psychology applications to children, parents, employees and organizations and as a career counselor. In the past 12 years, she has advised and coached more than 600 adolescents and job seekers on career guidance issues and psychological empowerment. 
She is a Fellow Member of the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association in which she was holding the role of Publications & Communication Representative of the Board of Directors (2013 – 2015). She is also a founding member of the Cyprus Coaching Association (EMCC Cyprus), a member of the Cyprus Association for Cooperative Learning and the Greek Association of Positive Psychology, participating in relevant workshops, surveys and conferences. Vicky is co-author of the book “Introduction to Positive Psychology” (Topos Publishings, 2011) with a special chapter on Emotional Intelligence and job burnout and has published articles in magazines and newspapers. Her basic interests relate to the application of Positive Psychology at the workplace, motivating, engaging and empowering people, emotional intelligence, recruitment, performance management and coaching.
Demetra Mavrou
Demetra Mavrou has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical Psychology. She has worked with a number of difficulties; such as depression, stress, trauma, bereavement, abuse, personality disorders, and psychosis, with children, adults and elderly.  She is interested in Positive Psychology applications in therapy. Demetra has been at the Institute of Development since March 2016 as a Psychologist / Research Associate.
